While Lord Vader took over the Dead Star and even it, Ahsoka hasn't been able to contact via force with Anakin, unknow to her Darth Plagueis was masking Vader's Presence from the Jedi and the Sith.

Ahsoka took actions to help the return of her beloved Skyguy to the Republic, but still she wasn't able to success in that task, and even worse, news from Padme heself, about an unknown character who has been behind the sudden gain of support of Vader's New Alliance from many star systems, from both the Separatist and the Republic.
